Ekayana Institute is a retreat center and community for contemporary, non-sectarian Buddhism. 

The circle in the logo symbolizes inseparability, unity, and luminosity. At its center is an imaginary lunar disk, representing awakened activity. The luminous transitions and the empty interior point to the intangible nature of all experience, its dynamic aspect, and the radiant expanse of the all-illuminating mind.

The three colors refer to the three syllables Oṁ Āḥ Hūṁ of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, which represent the body, speech, and mind of awakening, depicted in white, red, and blue, respectively. On a deeper level, the circle symbolizes the unity of the three dimensions of awakening—compassionate manifestation, joyful dynamism, and intangible openness.
